CARR/POPE BIBLE

Copy of the original Bible found in the Collection of William Murphy, Joyner Library, 
Manuscript Division, East Carolina University, Greenville, NC.  The original Bible was 
in the possession of Martha Croom dec and is now in the possession of her son.

Sarah Carr daughter of Titus Carr and Winifred his wife was Born the 7th day of October 
in the year of Our Lord 1786

Reading Pope  son of John Pope and Mary his wife was Born May 29th in the year of our 
Lord 1775

Robert Pope Son of Reading and Sally his wife was born the 20th day of Feby A. D. 1816

Nancy W. Edwards departed this life in the year of our Lord January the 24th 1837
