Henry B. Holmes was born January the 29th, 1813 . Henry B. Holmes died 
August 26th, 1847 aged 34 years.

Winnifred J Holmes was born March the [blank] 1820. Winnifred J Holmes 
died September 8th 1845 aged 25 years.

Elizabeth Ann the daughter of Henry B Holmes and Winnifred his wife was 
born April the 28th 1838. 

Elizabeth Ann Best wife of H H Best died July 15th, 1858 aged 20 yrs 2m 17 d.

Louisa B the daughter of Henry B Holmes and Winnifred his wife was born 
the 3 of April 1840.

Henry Robert the son of Henry B Holmes and Winnifred his wife was born the 
23 of August 1842. 

Henry Robert son of the above died April 20th 1843.

James Thomas the son of Henry B Holmes an Winnifred his wife was bor 23 day 
of July 1844.

                             MARRIAGES

Henry B. Holmes and Winnifred his wife was married November the 22nd 1836.

Rigdon? G. Best and Lou B. Holmes were married May 22nd 1862.

Cora H. Best daughter of the above was born Saturday 28th February 1863.

Henrietta Demillian Best Born Oct the 11th 1867.

William H. Edmundson was borne 25 Day of August 1822. Lydia J. Minshew 
was borne 14th of November 1831. 

William H. Edmundson and Lydia J. Minshew was married the 23th? of Sept. 
A.D. 1851.

James T. Holmes and Eliza J. Sugg was married June 11th? 1867.

Ernest Albert Holmes son of the above was born Tuesday April 28th 1868.

William H.? Holmes was born Aug 31st ?  1870.

George T Holmes was born June 1st 1872.

life the 20th of April 1843.

Winnifred J. Holmes departed this life the 8th day of September 1845.

Henry B Holmes departed this life Augt 26th 1847.

J. Thomas Holmes departed this life Feb. 2, 1904.

Eliza J. Holmes died May 28, 1922.

Mabel Rosalie Holmes died April 14, 1920.

The original bible was viewed by the transcriber and scans were made from 
the original and are in the possession of the transcriber. The owner of the 
bible wishes to remain anonymous.

From handwriting in the bible it appears that Henry B. Holmes was the original 
owner and it may also have been in the possession of other family members 
including James T. Holmes.
