REVOLUTIONARY WAR

(On back of marker: "Commissed 25 NOV 1776. Went to
South Carolina with Dobbs County Volunteers. The
British Troops killed his prized Bull, after it charged
the Red Coats, and hung its head up for Public Display
thus, Bull Head Plantation was named.
John Edmundson, ESQ., died 14 Nov 1853. Age: 82 years
In Memory of Vicy Edmundson, Consort of John Edmundson
and daughter of Frederrick Jordan and Winnifred, his
wife, was born Oct. 1778 and departed this life
