PETITION OF AQUILLA SUGG

To The Honourable the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina

The Petition of Aquilla Sugg of the County of Greene respectfully showeth

That he is desirous that his natural daughter Avey Hill should be legitimate 
and made capable of inheriting as if she has been born in wedlock and that her 
name should be altered from Avey Hill to Avey Sugg.  He prays that your 
Honourable Body would pass an act for these purposes, and he as in duly bound 
& C.
