Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, November Term 1817
Margarett Murphey, Widow and Executrix -ke and Benjah Murphey, vs Lewis 
Harrell and Mary Harrell his wife, and Margaret Paisey, William, and Nancy 
Taylor, infants, William Murphey, Best Ward and Margaret Ward his wife, and 
John Thomas, James Tonnell? and Dixie Murphey, infants.-Petetion -- for the 
probate of the last Will and Testament of John Murphey dec. --?appearing to 
the Court that William Murphey, Best Ward and Margaret Ward, his wife, reside 
without the ---?of this state, Ordered ---?the pendency of the Petition ---? 
notice to the said, William Murphey, Best ard and Margaret Ward his wife to 
appear at the next Term of this court and show just cause against the pra--er 
of the petitioners, to be published in the Raleigh Star for six weeks 
successively.
