INDENTURE BETWEEN LOUISA PATRICK AND JESSE COWARD This Indenture made on the twenty second day of January AD One thousand eight hundred and forty six between LOUISA PATRICK of the County of Greene and State of North Carolina on the one part and JESSE COWARD of the County of Greene on the other part witneseth that the said LOUISA PATRICK for --- sum of one hundred and sixty dollars --- paid by said JESSE COWARD ---- sell two certain tracts. One tract lying in County of Lenoir on or near the grape branch – all interest of the said LOUISA PATRICK in the lands of PENCY PATRICK deceased or all that portion of the said lands allotted to the said LOUISA PATRICK by the committee which divided it among the heirs at law of the said PENCY PATRICK dec ---- filed in the Clerks office of County of Lenoir which will more fuly show the location & boundaries.
