7 April 1772 – Dobbs County – Saml. Edmunds of South Carolina and Craven 
County, Cooper to John Harrell of Dobbs County – 12 pds, 15 shillings 
proclamation money – parcel in Dobbs Co  - NS Great Cotentany Creek being 
part of a deed from Benjamin Lewis to Saml. Edmunds – 68 acres being part of 
the patent where John Harril now lives Saml Edmunds
