Greene County, NC - Deeds - Henry Fields & wife to R.P. Hill, 1872 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Deed of Henry Fields & wife to R.P. Hill Greene County North Carolina This indenture made the 2nd day of Jan'y, A.D. 1872 between Henry Fields and Patience, his wife, of this part and Robert P. Hill of this all part, all of this Co. of Greene, State of Witnessth: That the said Henry & Patience Fields, for in the consideration of the sum of Six Hundred Dollars to them paid, by the said R.P. Hill. the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have given, granted, bargained and by this indenture do give, grant, and bargain, sell & convey unto him the said Robert P. Hill, his heirs & assigns a certain tract or parcel of land described as follows; situated near Tysons Marsh in said Co. of Greene, & bounded by the lands of Wm. E. Best, Thos. Mooring, Lemuel Mooring & Harper Smith, containing One Hundred and five acres, more or less, this said land being a portion of a tract which formerly belonged to James Mooring, late father of said Patience Fields. To have and to hold to him Robert P. Hill, his heirs & assigns forever, together with all this privileges & appurtenances in any manner belonging unto aforesaid. And the said parties of the first part with him shall forever warrant against thy claim of any to all forever.
