Greene County, NC - Cleveland Farmer to Mollie Fields, 1909

State of North Carolina, Greene County
       This deed, made this the 6th day of Feb'y 1909, by Cleveland 
Farmer of Greene County, and State of North Carolina, of the first 
part, to Mollie Fields of Greene County, and State of North Carolina, 
of the second part:
       Witnesseth, that said Cleveland Farmer in consideration of 
Ten dollars paid by Mollie Fields, the receipt of which is hereby 
acknowledged, has bargained and sold, and by these presents, does 
bargain, sell and convey to said Mollie Fields heirs and assigns, a 
certain tract or parcel of land in Snow Hill Township, Greene County, 
State of North Carolina, adjoining the lands of V. R. Smith & Henry 
Fields and others, bounded as follows, viz:
       Being the full interest of said Cleveland Farmer in the dower 
of Daisy Farmer, widow of Thomas Farmer, dead, and the said Cleveland 
Farmer hereby transfers and sells all his interest divided and 
undivided that he assumes at this date in the estate of said Thomas 
Farmer, dec'd, which said interest consist of certain share in the 
lands left by said Thomas Farmer that have not been sold and allotted 
to Daisy Farmer widow as her dower in the lands which Thos Farmer dead 
possessed at his death
       To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and 
all privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to the said Mollie 
Fields, her heirs and assigns to their only use and behoof forever.
       And the said Cleveland Farmer his heirs executors & administrators 
covenant with said Mollie Fields heirs and assigns that he is seized of 
said premises in fee and has right to convey in fee simple: that the 
same are free and clear from all incumbrances, and that he will warrant 
and defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons 
whomsoever.
       In testimony whereof, the said has hereunto set his hand and seal 
the day and year first above written.
