Indenture

9 September 1767 – Dobbs County – Benjamin Lewis of Dobbs, planter to 
Micajah Rice, planter – 60 pds reclamation money for 200 acres - parcel in 
Dobbs on the NS of Great Cotentney being part of a patent granted to said 
Benjamin Lewis for 336 acres on 17 August 1756 – adj Micajah Rice, Henry 
Edmonds – including the plantation were Lewis now lives and all the land of 
the patent except a 136 acres that Lewis sold to Samuel Edmonds – includes 
all houses, meadows, ways water and water courses, timber
