2 November 1825 - Know all men by these present that I WESLEY ORMOND of 
the State of North Carolina and the County of Greene of the one part 
for and in consideration of the Sum of $120 one Hundred and Twenty 
Dollars to me in hand paid by JOHN J. EDWARDS of the County and State 
aforesaid of the other part --- sell a parcel situated in the County of Greene 
on the north East side of Pole Cat Swamp and bounded by Pole Car Swamp, 
adj CHARLES EDWARDS, ARTHUR COWARD --- forty acres
