R.  J. POWELL TO MATTHEW MOSELEY - Oct 1826

This Indenture made this no date day of   1826 Between R. J. Powell of
Greene County in the State of North Carolina of the one part and Matthew
Mosely of Lenoir County on the other part Witnesseth ---- that for the sum
of Two Hundred and Seventy dollars --- sold to Matthew Mosely a certain ---
parcel of land situated in Lenoir County ---- beginning at a black gum
standing on Isiah Johnson dec line now Isaac Faulkner   South Sixty three
West 86 poles to a oak on Moselys corner then with his line South 104 poles
to another of his corners then South 87 West 116 poles to another of sd
Moselys corners then South to ???  poles to anther of his corners then
North 79 Wet 120 poles with Farmers old patent line to Francis Kilpatricks
corner then with his line to the other corner of a patent granted to Elijah
Johnson ????  dated 27 November 1787 then with the third line of the said
???? South 24 East 172 poles to the second corner of the said patent then
North  East 24 poles to the first corner then South 24 East 160 poles to
the beginning of said patent then with the given line to a black gum then
fourth corner of a patent granted to Isaiah Johnsons Senr dec then South 88
East 22 poles to a stake in Isiah Johnsons corner then with the line now
Isaac Falkner  line to the beginning containing 90 acres.  3rd October 1826
