I am truly gratified in being afforded the opportunity of rejoicing with my old neighbors in their release crance as set of fellows who are a disgrase to any refined and enlightened society. I am truly glad they have so disgraced themselves as to be compelled to leave your neighborhood. If is was not to the detrement of the others. I am glad to hear that you are yet determined to come to Arkansas this fall with some of your neighbors. I should be gratified to see them all hear. I am improving 1/4 section about 1/2 mile from this place and intend putting up my house in a few day which will be large enough for 3 or 4 small families which will be at the servis of as many as can ocupy it when you arrive. Let me know as soon as this comes to mind. What time you will be hear, and who is coming with you in order that I may have an opportunity of providing for you. I design attending the land sales at L. Bock on the 22 of October and I wish a littler at least by the 15 of Oct. Now, be positive in the No. coming and the time, aside from accidents or misfortune, relative to your trip, be certain in the first place not to load too heavy steart direct for Memphis in the Miss. River and if the River is low cross there and stear for Lawrenceville on White River thince to Pine Bluff on Arkansas River. You are then 30 miles from this place. If there are several in company let one do all the hailing for thire are shasses an in the roads. It will not take you exceeding 45 days to reach here if you will be industrous. Start early and travel late but not fast. Do not push your teams fied well and see you horses do not fall away. Roads if you hav good wither and no accident befalls you can get here in 40 days with $20.00 The mane thing is in company the chwts? But provide yourself with all the money you can sarse. I am still in the enjoyment of good health and engaged in the same business and doing well and well placed and settled for life.
