Mewborn, father to our townsman and president of the Branch Banking company, Mr. S. G. Mewborn is here on a visit to his son. He is 74 years of age and is the best of health. In a conversation with him we ascertained that he has raised seven children to be grown and that all of them are doing well and are an ornament to the several communities in which they reside, something that should make his parental heart beat with pride.
