Wilson mirror: We regret exceedingly to learn of the death of Dr. Jno. Harvey, of Greene County. He enjoyed the esteem of all who knew him. Rev. Mr. Tuttle is growing in popularity, and his large congregations are thrilled and enchanted with his strong and pointed and impressive discources. Raleigh Visitor: Portraits of Gen. Bryan Grimes, Gen Rufus Barringer and Col W. L. Saunders were placed in the State Library today. ____Mr. L. D. Taylor was stricken with paralysis in his right side, at his place of business, 213 South Wilmington Street, twenty minutes to one o'clock this afternoon. Maxton Union: We regret to learn this morning of the death of Mr. Trus Thompson, which occurred at his home near Little Rock yesterday. Measles was the cause of his death.---- There will be a meeting of the friends of the proposed extension of the Alma and Little Rock Railroad from Maxton to Spring Hill, at Maxton, on Saturday, January 26th.
