DIED

Of Typhoid fever, near Hookerton, Green Co. on the 5th of July, Mrs. Sallie Ann 
Coward, wife of Bro. E. R. Coward, Esq of Carolina Council No. 7. Mrs. Coward 
was in the 42 year of her age, and had lived a consistant member of the Baptist 
Church for upwards of twenty years. Pre-eminently of a meek and quiet spirit, a 
godly conversation, and an upright walk, she had bound to her many admiring 
friends, who mourn her loss. But she leaves for their guidance, an example well 
worthy to be followed.

May God comfort our bereaved Bro. And his little ones, and give them grace to 
meet their departed loved one, in the Grand Council above.

NOTE: Bible Records give her death date as 1874.
