Death of Will Darden.
The death of Mr Wm. M Darden,
45 years of age, secretary and treas-
urer of the Fremont oil mill, and a 
progressive spirit in the develop-
ment of that prosperous town, oc-
curred at his home there yesterday,
after a protracted illness.  Deceased
leaves a wife and five children, and
was a brother of Mrs. W. H. Borden
and Mrs. John W. Aycock, of this
city, who, together with the bereav-
ed wife and children, have the sym-
pathy of their many friends.  The
funeral took place this afternoon at
1:30 o'clock, and was largely at-
tended.
