No notation of the newspaper or date of publication. Macon Edward Dail died 2 March 1915. He married Addie Elizabeth Ormond. MR. MEKE DAIL DEAD Mr. M. E. Dail a well known citizen of this county, died at his home in Ormonds Township Tuesday, March 2. He died of a complication of diseases, being 67 years of age at the time of his death. He was buried Wednesday afternoon in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. Mr. Dail is survived by his wife and seven children as follows: Messrs. J. C., W. S., D. L., and C. H. Dail and Mesdames B. F. D. Albritton, W. J. Richardson and L L. Hardy. Mr. Dail was a successful businessman and planter, amassing a snug fortune during his life. At one time he was prominent in the affairs of the county, being a leader in politics. He held several positions of trust and honor, among them being that of county treasurer.
