published in the magazine of the Free Will Baptist Church in North Carolina.



Polly Ruff was born 15 Oct., 1810, died 14 March, 1899, age 88 years 5 

months and 4 days. She joined the Free Union Free Will Baptist church, in Greene Co. 
in October, 1858. She was baptized by Elder James Moore. 

Survivors were one daughter, two sons, seventeen grandchildren, and thirty five 
great-grandchildren.  She was sick only a few days.
