Greene County, NC Courthouse
December 18, 1934, Roy Davis applied for a Marriage License for Fred Faulkner 
and Ina Margarett Butts, both of Ayden, NC. Fred Faulkner, age 33, white, was 
the son of Wiley Faulkner, dead, and Mary Faulkner, living, of Greene Co. Ina 
Margarett Butts, age 23, white, was the daughter of Leon Butts, dead, and Dyde 
Butts, living of Greene Co. J. G. Phillips, Methodist Minister, performed the 
marriage of Fred Faulkner and Ina Margarett Butts on December 18, 1934 in 
Hookerton. 

Witnesses were: Miss Edna Davis of Ayden, NC, Mrs. F. W. Carroll of Hookerton, 
NC, and Mrs. J.G. Phillips of Hookerton, NC
