To any Ordained Minister of any Religious Denomination or any Justice 
of the Peace of said County:
I, Jno. Goff having applied to me for a LICENSE for the marriage of 
David Beardsley of Greene Co. aged 18 years, color white the son of 
Lambert Beardsley and Martha Beardsley, the father now living, the 
mother now living, resident of Pitt Co. N. C. And Sarah E. Fields of 
Greene Co. aged 23 years, color white, daughter of Henry Fields and 
Patience Fields the father living, the mother dead, resident of 
Greene Co.

and Sarah E. Fields the parties licensed above on the 24th day of Jan'y

County, according to law.
