Greene County, NC Courthouse
January 20, 1896, T.O. Dail applied for a Marriage License for W.T. Cannon of 
Pitt Co. and Lizzie Jones of Greene Co. W.T. Cannon, age 33, white, was son of 
T.C. Cannon and Mary Cannon, both living, and both of Pitt Co. Lizzie Jones, 
age 25, white, was daughter of Thomas Jones, dead, and Rosa Jones, living, 
both of Greene Co. They were married January 23, 1896 by C. L. Little, FWB 
Minister, at the residence of Mrs. Rosa Jones in Willowgreen Township, Greene 
Co. 

Witnesses were: H. I. Stanly, L. H. Faulkner, and Clarence Edwards.
