Greene County, NC Courthouse
March 11, 1878, J.T. Fr_____ applied for a Marriage License for W.T. Moore and 
Louisa Stocks, both of Greene Co. W.T. Moore, age 24, white, was son of J.B. 
Moore, dead, and Polly Moore, living. Louisa Stocks, age 34, was daughter of 
Jas. Stocks and Sarah Stocks, both living. On March 13, 1878, James M. 
Barfield, Free Will Baptist Minister, united in matrimony Wm. Moore and Luezor 
Stocks at Wiley Stocks’ in Olds Township. 

Witnesses were: W.C. Dail, A.H. Stocks, and P.E. (James?), all of Greene Co.
