Greene County, NC Courthouse
January 23, 1893, J.E. Dupree applied for a Marriage License for Benj. 
Faulkner and Margret Tilghman of Lenoir Co. Benj. Faulkner, age 21, white, was 
son of Leanidus Faulkner, dead, and Rebecca Faulkner, living, both of Lenoir 
Co. Margret Tilghman, age 18, white, was the daughter of Chas. Tilghman, dead, 
and Geo. C. Tilghman, living, of Lenoir Co. The marriage was performed on 
January 25, 1893 by J. W. Tilghman, Justice of the Peace at the residence of 
Walter Jackson in Hookerton. 

Witnesses were: Jas. E. Dupree of Lenoir Co., E. A. Case of Hookerton, and Sam 
Faulkner of Lenoir Co.
