BRITT 1888 wife Nancy Jane BRITT- one half of the tract of land on which I now live, south side of said tract and one half of the dwelling and out houses included. also one choice horse or mule , one choice sow and pigs during her widow hood son: B. W. BRITT- one half of the tract of land on which I now live, the north side of said tract , and one half of the dwelling and out houses included. Also my store house and lot in (L_____ N. C., my interest in stock of goods, notes and accounts belonging to said store, all farming utensils and tools, Engines, and all house hold furniture. daughter: Mary (?) Ann LAWSON- wife of Giles S. LAWSON three thousand dollars the amount paid for me for a part of the Tract of land in Wayne County situated on the north side of Goldsboro road. daughter: Sarah Jane CASEY- wife of Sam C. CASEY a tact of land in Wayne County on the south side of Neuse River daughter: E__ L. UZZELL wife of Major UZZELL a tract of land in Wayne County known as the R.T. Britt place and a part of the Ben Britt place to a line recently made lying at a stake on Little Marsh then a straight line to a light wood kno__ in the Council Best old line , adjoining the lands of Geo W. BEST, H. B. SMITH and others daughter: Nancy Jane BRITT the balance of a tract of land in Wayne Co. known as the Ben Britt place mentioned in item 6 adjoining the lands of Amasiah PARKS and others wife:- all property both real and personal given to her, goes to son B. W. BRITT after her death Sarah Jane CASEY, Em__ L. UZZELL and Nancy Jane BRITT to equally divide the insurance money , -the Lane tract and Thom Jones tracts of land in same county be sold and proceeds of such sale, to be applied to pay debts. money collected from notes and accounts and any surplus after paying debts to be equally paid to my heirs. each of my daughters- one bed each , then to my son B. Britt late of said county is dead having first made and published his last will and testament and that B.W. Brit is the executor named there in and that B.W. Britt said executor named in said will is . . . under twenty one years of age being of the age of nineteen years and eight months.
