ZILPHIA J.COX WILL

NORTH CAROLINA
GREENE COUNTY

I Zilphia J. Cox of said state and county do make and declare this my last 
Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say:

It is my will and desire that my executor herein after named shall provide 
for my body w. decent burial suitable to the wishes of my friends and 
relatives, and have a tomb-stone erected over my grave like the one over the 
grave of my late husband, S. P. Cox, and to pay all my just debts to 
whomsoever oweing out of the first monies that may come into his hands as a 
part and parcel of my estate.

ITEM 1st:  I give and bequeath to Wilie W. Cox, Charles P. Farmer, Zilphia 
E. Cox, and John C. Cox and Pinkney, Zilphia, Sallie, Bettie and Obedience 
Darden, Children of A. L. Darden the sum of one dollar each to them and 
their heirs forever.

ITEM 2nd:  I give and bequeath to Thomas S. Kennedy the sum of two hundred 
dollars to him and his heirs forever.

ITEM 3rd:  I give and bequeath to Francis E. Williams, wife of Henry G. 
Williams, Jr. all of my estate of every description not heretofore disposed 
of in Items 1st and 2nd to be hers and her heirs absolutely forever.

ITEM 4th:  I constitute and appoint Thomas S. Kennedy my lawful executor to 
execute this my last Will and Testament according to the true intent and 
meaning thereof.
