Item first - I devise & give all of my real estate adjoining the lands of Richard Hardy Octavas Taylor & others containing one hundred & fifty acres more or less situated in Greene County to the following named persons James Wade & Narcisa Wade. Item second - I give & bequeath all of my personal property of every discription to James Wade & Narcisa Wade. Item third - I herby appoint my friend F.B. Fields executor to this my last will & testament & direct him to pay all of my honest debts & burrial expenses. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 15th day of Sept 1883. Wooten Elijah Taylor Robert Harper State of North Carolina, Greene County In the Supreme Court, April 29, 1889 A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Mathew Fields deceased is exhibited before me in open court by F.B. Fields the executor therein mentioned and the due execution thereof by the said Mathew Fields is proven by the oath and examination of Elijah Taylor and Robert Harper two of the subscribing witnesses thereto. Is is ordered and ? by the court that the said paper writing and every ? and clause thereof is the last will and testament of the said Mathew Fields deceased and the same is ordered to be recorded and filed.
