                          Will of W H Fields
                          February 20, 1942
North Carolina
Greene County

I, W H Fields, being of sound mind, do make and declare this my Last 
Will and Testament:

Item 1: I give and devise to my beloved wife, Mattie Fields, for the
term of her natural life, the house and lot in Snow Hill, where we now
live, and after her death to my daughter Hattie Fields in fee simple
forever.

Item 2: I give and devise to my beloved daughter Hattie Fields, my home
place in Hookerton Township, Greene County in fee simple forever.

Item 3: I give and bequeath to my said wife, all of my personal property
of every kind and description, excepting one talking machine and records
which I give and bequeath to my daughter Hattie Fields.

Item 4: I hereby constitute and appoint my friend JC Exum, as executor,
of this my last will and testament according to the true meaning and
intent thereof, hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other
will and testament by me, heretofore made.

In Witness Whereof, I set my hand and seal, this the 20th day of
February 1942.

Signed, sealed, published, and declared by the said WH Fields to be his
last will and testament in the presence of us who, and at his request
and in his presence, and in the presence of one another, do subscribe
our names as witnesses hereunto.

I, J E Mewborn, Clerk of the Superior Court for the County and State
aforesaid, do hereby certify that the foregoing attached sheet
constitutes a true copy of the last will and testament of WH Fields,
deceased, as appears of record in the office of the Clerk of the
Superior Court of Greene County.

Witness my hand and official seal, this the 19th day of April, 1946.
