Greene County, NC - Will of Merimon Ginn, 1901 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ State of North Carolina Greene County I MERIMAN GINN being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this to be my last will and testament. 1st I direct my executor hereinafter be named to pay all my just debts and provide for my body a decent burial out of the first money that may come into his hands belonging to my estate. 2nd I give to my wife AVA GINN all the property of every description that I may be in possession of at my death for her use during her life time and at her death I desire and hereby direct that it the said property shall be given to my daughter BETTIE TURNER. 3rd I hereby appoint and constitute JAMES R. SMITH my trusty friend my executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same and every part and clause thereof hereby revoking and declaring all former wills I may have made uterly void. In testimony whereof I the said MERIMAN GINN do hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd day of October 1900.
