Greene County, NC - Will of Martha Hill, 1889

In the name of God, Amen, I MARTHA HILL of the County of Greene and 
State of North Carolina being weak in body and of sound mind, memory 
and under standing praise be to God for the same, do make this my last 
will and testament in manner and form following.
ITEM 1  I give and devise unto my beloved sisters LORA & SMITHEY E. 
HILL all of my Eighty Acres of land in fee simple forever and the said 
land to be divided equal between themselves, after my death. LORA'S 
forty acres to be on the east and SMITHEY E.'S forty acres to be on the 
west side in my eighty acres of land.
ITEM 2  I give unto my beloved brother A. HYMBRICK HILL all of my 
farming tools, one third of bed cover, my part of the sheep and ox.
ITEM 3  I give unto my beloved sisters LORA and SMITHEY E. HILL their 
heirs and assigns forever all of my property (that is not given above) 
real personal and mixed of what nature and kind soever and wheresoever 
the same shall be at the time of my death. The said property to be 
equally divided between themselves.
In witness whereof I the said MARTHA HILL have hereunto set my hand and 
seal this 10th May 1889.
