Greene County, NC - Will of Smithy E. Hill, 1926 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ North Carolina Greene County I, SMITHY E. HILL, of the County and state aforesaid, being of sound mind and memory, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my last will and testament, in manner and form as follows: FIRST: My executor hereinafter named, shall give my body a decent burial, suitable to the wishes of my friends and relatives, and pay all my funeral expenses including the cost of ten dollars for a tomb stone to be erected at my grave, together with all just debts, out of the first money which may come into his hands belonging to my estate. SECOND: I give and bequeath to my beloved nephew, JOHN RICHARD HILL, two beds, two bed steads, four chairs, two tables, one trunk, one chest and all the money I should have at my death. THIRD: I give and bequeath to my beloved nephew, RUFUS HILL, my entire interest in all the corn , fodder, all other crops whatsoever nature and kind, bees, meat, hogs, cattle and all other personal property what-soever nature and kind. FOURTH: I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved nephew, JOHN RICHARD HILL, my lawful executor to all intent and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament, according to the true intent and meaning of the same, and every part and clause thereof. In testimony whereof, I, the said SMITHEY E. HILL, do hereunto set my hand and seal, this 26th day of March 1913. SMITHEY E.
