Greene County, NC - Will of Leora Hill, 1916

     I, LEORA HILL, of the county and State aforesaid, being sound 
of mind and memory, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly
existence, do make and declare this my last will and testament in
manner and form as follows
     FIRST: My executor hereinafter named, shall give my body a 
decent burial, suitable to the wishes of my friends and relatives,
and pay all funeral expenses including the cost of ten dollars for
a tomb stone to be erected at my grave, together with all just debts,
out of the first moneys, which may come into his hands belonging
to my estate.
     SECOND: I give and bequest to my beloved nephew, RUFUS HILL,
two beds, bed steads, four chairs, two tables, one trunk, one chest
and all the money I should have at my death.
     THIRD: I give and bequest to my beloved nephew, RUFUS HILL, 
my entire interest in all the corn, fodder, all other crops whatsoever
nature and kind, bees, meat, hogs, cattle and all other personal
property whatsoever nature and kind.
     FOURTH: I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved nephew,
RUFUS HILL, my lawful executor, to all intent and purposes, to
execute my last will and testament, according to the true intent
and meaning of the same, and every part and clause thereof.
     In Testimony whereof, I, the said LEORA HILL, do hereunto 
set my hand and seal, this 26th day of March 1913.

her request and in her presence,
