Greene County, NC - Will of Eleanie A. Roberson, 1932 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ North Carolina Greene County I ELEANIE A. ROBERSON, of the county and state aforesaid being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence, do hereby make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows to wit FIRST My executor, herein after named, shall give my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my friends and relatives, and pay all funeral expenses, together with all my just debts out of the first money which may come into his hands belonging to my estate. SECOND I give and devise to my beloved brother TRAVIS HARRISON, for and during the time of his natural life, a life estate, in all my real estate consisting of two tracts. First tract, a certain tract, lying and being in Hookerton Township, Greene County, North Carolina, adjoining the lands of ALEX DAWSON, FRANK GRANT, J O BARROW and others containing 88 acres more or less, and being the identical lands will to me by my husband JAMES P. ROBERSON, and being the same land which I now live on. Second tract a certain tract of land containing 52 acres more or less and being Lot No. 3 in the division of the lands of my father JOHN W. HARRISON among the heirs-at-law and being Lot No. 3 allotted to me in said division. THIRD I give and bequeath to my beloved brother TRAVIS HARRISON and his four children to wit. WILBER WARREN HARRISON and ROSE HARRISON all my personal property of whatsoever nature and kind. FOURTH I give and devise to my beloved relative WILBER WARREN HARRISON and ROSE HARRISON all in fee simple forever, after the life estate of the said TRAVIS HARRISON is over. The following described lands to wit. A certain tract of land containing 52 acres more or less, and being Lot No. 3 in the division of the lands of my father JOHN W. HARRISON among the heirs-at-law and being Lot No. 3 allotted to me in said division. FIFTH I give and devise to my beloved relatives SIDNEY HARRISON and JOHN TRAVIS HARRISON in fee simple forever after the life estate of the said TRAVIS HARRISON is over the following described lands, to wit. A certain tract of land lying and being in Hookerton Township, Greene County, North Carolina, adjoining the lands of ALEX DAWSON, FRANK GRANT, J. O. BARROW and others containing 88 acres more or less and being the land on which I now live and the lands which was will to me by my husband JAMES P. ROBERSON. SIXTH I hereby constitute and appoint my trusted and beloved brother TRAVIS HARRISON my lawful executor, without bond, to all intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament, according to the true intent and meaning of the value and every part and clause thereof, hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other will and testament by me heretofore made.
