Greene County, NC - Will of D. A. Sugg, 1892 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will of D. A. Sugg Greene County 1892 State of North Carolina Greene County Be it remembered that thou-I, D. A. Sugg of said county and state being of sound mind and memory though in feeble health and considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make constitute and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit---- First-That my executor hereinafter named shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relatives and friends to pay all funeral expenses together with all just debts entered into or contracted for since the first day of January eighteen hundred and eighty out of any moneys that may first come into his hands as part or parcel of my estate. And also whatever may due to the two younger children of Pensie Radford, deceased, the wife of Patrick Radford, as I was her administrator, and having previously settled with all of the older children of said Pensie Radford. Item 1st- I give and devise to my son James T. Sugg all that he may be indebted to me by note or otherwise, also one third of household and kitchen furniture, to have and to hold to him to his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever. Item 2nd- I give and devise to my two daughters Mary A. Albritton and Martha E. Harper all the residue of my estate, real personal and mixed to be equally divided between them, share share alike of all that may be remaining after the settlement of my estate to have and to hold to each of them their heirs and assigns in fee simple forever. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my true and trusty friend J. T. H. Harper my son in law my lawful executor to execute this my last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same hereby revoking and making null and void any other will heretofore by me made.
