Greene County, NC - Will of John Walston, 1891 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Will of John Walston of Greene County, North Carolina I John Walston of the count of Greene and the State of North Carolina being of sound mind and disposing memory do make publish and declare this to by my last will and testament as follows. 1st I devise those my executor shall provide a decent burial for my body and pay all funeral expenses together with all my just debts out of such funds as shall come to his hands. 2nd I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Susan Harper one bed, bedstead and furniture. 3rd II loan to my daughter Mary Susan Harper during her natural life and one half of all due my real estate and after her death my wish and desire is that the land so bound to said Mary Susan Harper shall be equally divided between my two grandsons William Gray & Jno. Franklin Walston to them and their heirs in_____ _____forever. 4th My wish and desire is that my executrix shall have no sale of my _____ property but shall keep is all together and work my lands with the stock on my farm except the land loaned to my daughter Mary Susan and the proceeds of the farms together with my stock and other _____property shall be for the ___ _____ and my two grandsons William Gray and Jno. Franklin Walston when they arrive at the age of twenty-one years share & share alike. 5th I give and bequeath all the balance of my real estate to by two grandsons William Gray & Jno. Franklin Walston to them and their heirs absolutely forever to be worked and supervised and rents colleted by my executrix until they shall arrive at the age of twenty-one years. And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my daughter in law Mary A. Walston my Lawful executrix to execute this my last will and testament and I hereby revoke all wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
