Side 2: "Ann Eliza wife of J.M. Morehead Born Oct 15th 1804 Died July 29th 1868." Side 3: "Severed on Earth, we yet shall meet again." Side 4: [blank] [Notes: Morehead was governor of North Carolina 1841-1842. Wife's maiden name was "Lindsay"] TOMB B [Memorial stone] "Mother Her children shall arise up and call her blessed." [Note: Unclear if this memorial stone next to John Motley Morehead's tombstone is truly the grave of his mother, Obedience Motley.] TOMB C [memorial stone] "Father Mark of the perfect man [2nd line indistinct]" [Note: Unclear if this memorial stone next to John Motley Morehead's tombstone is truly the grave of his father John Morehead] TOMB D [headstone] "Peter G. Evans, Colonel in the Confederate Army died of wounds in Washington city Died July 24th 1863 Aged 41 years." [bronze plaque at foot, more recent] "Pete G.
