DIVISION OF THE LANDS OF MARTHA SMITH

North Carolina Guilford County Superior Court special proceedings

William A Smith                  Report of the Comissioners
& Amanda L. Quate

To the Clerk of said Court of said County.

        Obedient to a summons of the sheriff of said County we the undersigned 
Commissioners appointed to divide and allot in severally the lands mentioned 
and described in the petition in the cause above entitled containing seventy 
five acres more or less assembled on the premises in Monroe Township in said 
County on the 22nd day of October 1903 and proceeded to partition the said 
lands among the said tenants in Common according to their respective rights 
and interests therein and the following is our report of the same.
We allot to Robert L. Smith, William A. Smith and Amanda L. Quate as follows 
by metes and bounds viz  Boundaries of the divisions of Martha Smith Land

1st. First Lot  Robt L Smith
    Beginning at a stone Kings corner thence east 1 degree So 91 poles to a 
stone Smiths & Brewers Corner thence East  3-1/2 degrees So 21 poles  to a 
stone on the west side of the public road thence South 38 degrees West 63 
poles to a stone on the east side of the public road thence West 1-1/4 degrees 
North 61 poles to a stone Dock Wyricks Corner, thence North with Wyricks line 
2-1/2 degrees East 9-1/2 poles to a stone Wyricks Corner thence W with Wyricks 
line 19-1/2 poles to a stone in A.S. Vass line thence North 4 degrees W with 
A. S. Vass line 43 poles to the beginning - 27 acres more or less.

2nd Second Tract William A. Smith
    Beginning at a stone in Smiths line thence east 3-1/2 degrees So poles & 
17 links to a stone in Smiths & Brewers line thence So 3-1/2 degrees East 49 
poles & 5 links to a stone in the division line thence West 1-1/2 degrees 
North 61 poles to a stone on the east side of the road thence North 38 degrees 
east 63 poles to the beginning containing 15-1/2 acres more of less.

3rd Third Lot Amanda L. Quate
    Beginning at a stone on Smiths line thence east 3-1/2 degress So 79-3/4 
poles to a stone Smiths Corner thence So 2-1/2 degrees East 49 poles & 5 links 
to a stone.  Thence West 1-1/4 degrees North 77 poles to a stone in the 
division line thence North 3-1/2 degrees West 49 poles & 5 links to the 
beginning Containing 24 acres more or less.
