On motion of Jesse Benton, Spruce McCoy and John McNary, esqs, attorneys at 
law, it was ordered that the land now claimed by:

Thomas Hamilton	    John Smyth		John Job		John Peasely 
Daniel McKindle    William Smith	James Hamilton	        Robert Morrow
Samuel McDill	   John McBride, Jr	John Starr		Nathan Russell
John McBride:

Be postponed until a trial by jury shall be had respecting the right that the 
Commissioner of Confiscated Property has to dispose of these lands under the 
confiscation Laws, the said being advertised as lands of the property of Henry 
Eustace McCullock lying on the Waters of Little Alamance, Great Alamance, Cider 
or Cedar Alley, Back Creek, Travis’s Creek. The lands, it is objected, is not 
the property of said McCullock, but the aforesaid claimants in the county of 
Guilford, and ordered that Charles Bruce, Esq, Commissioner of Confiscated 
Property for Salisbury District, be served with a copy of the order. The 
respective claims of the aforesaid claimants into the above mentioned lands be 
as follows, to wit:

John Peasely, 372 acres in No. 10 [or No. 50] on both sides of Beach [or Birch] 
Creek.
