STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA    COURT OF EQUITY   GUILFORD COUNTY
Oct. Term, 1808

ROBERT THOMPSON and RUTH, his wife
WM. ODOM SHORT  and JANE, his wife

        Vs.

THOMAS BLAIR and JANE, his wife; DAVID ARCHER, SARAH ARCHER, JOHN ARCHER, 
THOMAS  ARCHER and JOEL JUDKINS


It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, THOMAS 
ARCHER is  not an inhabitant of this State. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for three weeks in the Raleigh Minerva, that 
unless the said defendants appear at our next Court on the 4th Monday after 
the 4th Monday in March next to plead, answer or demur to this petition,  
judgment will be taken pro confesso against them and heard ex parte.
