George Bland to Daniel Dawson, 1795

This indenture  made this 29th day  of December  in the year  of our lord one 
thousand seven hundred  and ninety five between George Bland  of Guilford 
County and State of North Carolina of the one part  and Daniel Dawson of the 
same count of the other part witnesseth that the said George Bland for and in 
consideration  of the sum of Sixty Six pounds to him in hand paid at or before 
the sealing and delivering  of these presents the receipt whereof he doth 
hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth 
grant bargain sell enfeoff and confirm unto the said Daniel Dawson all that 
parcel of land  and premises being and lying on the waters of Buffalow 
beginning at a post oak grub in Wm. Montgomery s line turning thence south 100 
poles to a white oak grab thence east 192 poles to a black oak on Cobbs line 
thence north one hundred and ten poles to a post oak on  Gilberts line thence 
west one hundred ninety four poles to the beginning containing one hundred and 
thirty two acres and a half together  with all woods mines minerals and 
hereditaments to the said land belonging or appertaining to have and to hold 
to  the said Daniel Dawson his heirs  and assigns forever free from all 
encumbrances the sum or sums of money yearly or otherwise as our general 
assembly fro  time to time may direct only excepted and further said Bland 
doth further  covenant and agree with the said Dawson that he will at any time 
to come make any other conveyance that said Dawsons attorney in Law may direct 
for the better  ----- of said land and premises to him and his heirs and 
assigns forever  prevented  always that such other conveyance  ---- at the 
cost of said Daniel Dawson and shall contac  his other warranties than is 
contained in these presents   in witness  whereof said George Bland has 
hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the Day and year above written 
witness
