Jester CPJester@aol.com January 5, 2008, 1:44 am Written: 1795 Guilford County Deeds - Book F p. 329 James McQuistion and Wife to Charles Bland, 1795 This indenture made this twenty second o September in he year o our lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five between James McQuistion and Jean McQuistion of Guilford County and State of North Carolina of one part and Charles Bland of the County and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said James McQuistion and Jean McQuistion for and in consideration of the sum of fifty six pounds the receipt whereof the said James McQuistion and Jean McQuistion doth hereby acknowledge hath given granted bargained sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell to the said Charles Bland his heirs and assigns for ever a certain piece or parcel of land lying on the waters of North Buffalow beginning at Robert Rankins corner post oak on Ralph Gorrells line thence west along Rankins line ten chains to a small post oak on or near his old line thence south on said line thirty chains to his corner on Alex Bordens line thence east on Bordens line to his corner a Persimmon bush three chains and one half thence south along Bordens line twenty chains to his corner Black Jack thence west along his line to John Christi's corner Black Oak fourteen chains and seventy five whole links thence south along Christi's line twenty seven chains to a Post Oak sapling thence east twenty one chains to bush thence north to and along Ralph Gorrells line to the first station containing one hundred acres so the same more or less together with all woods way waters mines minerals hereditaments appurtenances unto the same belonging or in any wise to hold to the said Charles Bland his heirs and assigns for ever all and singular the above described premises and every appurtenances thereto their own proper use and behoof and the said James McQuistion and Jean McQuistion for our selves our heirs execs admr's to the said Charles Bland his heirs and assigns will and doth by these presents warrant and defend the above described tract of land and the appurtenances thereto belonging against all just or lawful claims of any other person or persons whatsoever of by from or under us or them in witness whereof the said James McQuistion and Jean McQuistion hath hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals the day and year above written signed sealed and delivered in presence of James McQuistion Isiah J Weatherly Jean his M mark McQuistion Jos.
