ROBT. MOORE and JAMES MOORE by the sd. JAMES KNOTT paid before the execution hereof the receipt whereof the sd. ROBERT MOORE & JAMES MOORE doth hereby acknowledge themselves and thereof exonerate & acquite the sd. JAMES KNOTT his heirs Extrs. Admrs. they the sd. ROBERT MOORE & JAMES MOORE by these presents doth grant bargain sell assign entitle release Page 525 confirm and set over unto the said JAMES KNOTT his heirs & assigns forever one certain piece or parcel or tracte of land situate & lying & being in the county of Guilford on the East Fork of Belue's Creek and Being part of the tracte of land that the late JOHN MOORE Senr. Dec.d lived on & Bounded as follows (Viz) Beginning on the East side of sd. Creek on a Black Oak & Hickory bush in JOHN WOODSIDEs line thence West along a dividing line made & agreed upon by each party crossing sd. creek six times to PHILIP JEANEs line near his corner to a white oak & corner tree thence south along sd. JEANEs line crossing sd. creek to his corner Black gum thence east along his line & sd. JAMES KNOTTs to JUSTAIN KNOTTs corner white oak thence North along his line to his corner hickory grub? thence east along his line to a corner poplar on a steep ridge thence alond sd. KNOTTs line crossing sd. creek three times to the first station containing three hundred acres more or less together with the improvements thereon reversions rents Issues? & profits & also all the wrights title Interest property claim and demand whatsoever of in & to the sd. tracte or parcel of land & premises & every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances thereunto appertaining to have & to hold to the said JAMES KNOTT his heirs & assigns for ever to his & their proper use benefits & behoof for ever & that sd. ROBERT MOORE & JAMES MOORE doth hereby covenant that they will for themselves their heirs & every of them will warrant & for ever defend the above bargained premises for ever against them the sd.
