Quiet of the County of Guilford & State of North Carolina of the one part and Robert Quiet of the County & State Afsd. Witnesseth that the Sd. William Quiet for & in Consideration of the Sum of one Hundred & fifty pounds to me in hand paid by the Sd. Robert Quiet the Receipt whereof is Acknowledged & himself there with Satisified hath by these presents Bargained granted Sett aliened enfeofed & Conveyed & Confirmed & by these presents doth Bargain Sell alien Enfeoff Convey & Confirm Unto the Sd. Robert Quiet his Heirs & assigns for ever all that Tract or parcel of Land lying in Said County of Guilford Situate on the waters of Alamance Beginning at a post Oak & Runing thence South two hundred & thirty Eight poles to a Spanish Oak thence west Seventy Eight poles to a Hickory thence North Two hundred & Thirty Eight poles to a Stake Standing on Robert Hannahs Line Between three _________ thence along his line East to the first Station Containing one Hundred & Sixteen acres Be the same more or less with the Reversion & Reversions Remainder & Remainders Rents Appurtenances And profets there of with all the Estate Right Title Interest property Claims and Demands whatso ever of him the Said Wm Quiet of in & to the Sd. Land & premesis & of in & to any part or Parcel thereof To have & to hold to him the Sd. Robert Quiet his Heirs & assigns for ever with all and Singular the appurtenances thereunto Belonging or in any wise appertaining to the only proper Benefit use & Behoof of him the Sd. Robt. Quite his Heirs & assigns for ever & the Sd. Wm Quiet Doth further Covenant & agree to & with the Sd. Robert Quiet to Warrant & for Ever Defend the Hereby Granted Land & premises from the Just Claim or Claims of any person or Persons whatsoever Claiming any Just Right or Title to the Same & to Make or Cause to be made Such other or further Conveyance or Conveyances as the Sd. Robert Quiet or his Counsel learned in the law shall Resonably advise Divise or Require for the further Securing & Betterence making the hereby granted Land & premesis in witness whereof. I the Sd.
