Wm Quiete A Tract of Land Containing fifty four Acres Lying and being in the County of Guilford on the waters of Alamance Beginning at a Black Jack Bush in Robert Hannahs Line Turning East Ten poles to a post Oak the Original Corner of Said Quiete & thence South on his old line four hundred & Eleven poles to his Old Corner a post Oak thence West Two hundred & Seventy four poles to a Black Jack thence North on Stewarts Line four hundred & Twenty Two poles to a poplar thence South one Degree & an half East fourteen hundred poles to a Black Jack bush thence East Two hundred & fifty Six poles To a small hickory thence North four hundred poles to the first Station As by the plat here unto aposeded (?) Doth appear Togather with all woods waters Mines Minerals hereditaments and appurtenances to the Said Land belonging or appurtaining To hole to the Sd.. Wm Quiete his Heirs & assigns for ever yielding & paying to us Such Sums of Money Yearly or otherwise as our General Assembly fromTime to Time May _________ provided Always that the Sd.. Grantee Shall Cause this Grant to be Registered in the Registers office of our Sd.. County of Guilford within Twelve Months from the date here of otherwise the Same Shall be Void & of No Effect In Testimony whereof we have Caused these our Letters to be made patent and our Grate Seal to be hereunto affixed.
