Sheriff of the County of Guilford of the one part & William Case of the County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that whereas by a certain Write of Fieri Fascias of the State of North Carolina Issued Writ of the County Court of Guilford devised to the Sheriff of the County of Guilford aforesaid Bearing Test by John Hamilton Esqr. Clerk of the County Court aforesaid an d dated the third Monday in May in the year of Christ 1798 the said Sheriff was Commanded by the Write aforesaid Him to? Of the goods chattles Lands & Tenement of the Estate of Robert Russell Dec'd. He should cause to be made the sum of Thirty one pounds which Joseph Erwin in the said County Court Recovered against the said Estate for debts & also the sum of five pounds nine shillings & four pence which was adjudged for Cost of State by the said Joseph Erwin expenses have the fees due & arising to the Sheriff for Executing this said Write of Fieri Fascias hereof the said Robert Russell was convicted as appeared of Record & that the said Sheriff should have the said sums of money before the Trustees of the next County Court of Guilford to be held at the Court House of said County on the third Monday in August then next following to render tot he said Joseph Erwin his debt & Cost issued & that he should have then their said write as by the said of Fieri Fascias & Judgment thereon Recorded to now Remaining of Record with County Court of Guilford aforesaid.
