Jester CPJester@aol.com January 5, 2008, 1:28 am Written: 1805 Guilford County Deeds - Book H p 306 James Walsh to Charles Bland, 1805 This indenture made the eleventh day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five between James Walsh of the state of North Carolina and county of Guilford of the first part and Charles Bland of the State and county aforesaid of the other part wheretofor that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds current of the state aforesaid to James Walsh in hand paid by the said Charles Bland the receipt whereof to the said James Walsh hereto acknowledges consents to have bargained sold conveyed and confirmed unto the said Charles Bland his heirs and assigns for ever a Certain tract or parcel of land lying in the county aforesaid on the waters of the South Buffalow beginning at a Black Jack in Thomas Landrith's line on the west side running south two hundred and eighty poles to a post oak on Wm. Weaherly line thence west one hundred and seventy poles to a red oak on Porters line thence north one hundred and ten poles along Porters line to at Oak on said line thence east to the first station being a tract of land Wm. Barnhill by patent bearing date the 14th day of October One thousand seven hundred and eighty three by the last will and testament of heirs the said William Barnhill bequeathed his son Wm. Barnhill with the reservation of fourteen acres to Sarah Barnhill, his wife & Mary Stewart during the life of both containing 312 acres together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging appurtaining or belonging or appertaining of any kind whatsoever and all the woods and water courses thereunto belonging appertaining and the said James Walsh doth hereby warrant and forever defend the before mentioned land and premises to him the said Charles Bland his heirs and assigns for ever in witness whereof have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal the day and year above written signed sealed and delivered James Walsh State of North Carolina May Court 1805 Guilford County John Landrith proved the execution of the within in open court on motion ordered to be recorded J.
