February 21, 1791, 
James White and wife Rebeckah [or Rebeca] (Guilford Co) to William Scott 
(same); for 500 pounds sold 293 acres on both sides of Reedy Fork of Haw River. 
Border begins at a corner ash on the edge of Long Branch, being JOHN WHITE’s 
corner, and joins John Brown. Part of a grant (no date) by Earl of Granville to 
George Black, who sold to Thomas Donnell who sold to JOHN WHITE, who sold to 
his brother, James White. (signed) James White and Rebeckah White. Witness 
Andrew Wilson and Joseph Bell. February 1791 acknowledged.
