WILLIAM WILLIAMS by the sd. JOHN MOORE in hand paid before the execution hereof the receipt whereof the sd. WILLIAM WILLIAMS doth hereby acknowledge & thereof Exonerate & acquit the sd. JOHN MOORE his heirs Extrs. Admrs. & assigns he the sd. WILLIAM WILLIAMS by these presents hath granted bargained sold alined enfoeffed assigned released confirmed & set over unto the sd. JOHN MOORE his heirs & assigns all that piece parcel or tract of land lying situate & being on both sides of Troublesome Creek in the county of Guilford beginning at a post oak on a ridge in JAMES CALHOONs sd. line turning thence along his line south crossing said creek two hundred & twenty poles to his corner chestnut oak thence the same course one hundred and thirty four poles (in all) three hundred & fifty four poles to a Black oak in JAMES KINNAMANs line thence along his line west crossing two branches two hundred & twenty two poles to his corner post oak thence the same course four poles to white oak thence north crossing one branch & sd. creek three hundred & fifty four poles to white oak thence to the first station containing five hundred acres of land together with the improvements reversions remainders rents issues & profits & also all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of in & to the sd. piece parcel or tract of land & premises & every part thereof with the appurtenances thereunto appertaining to have & to hold to the sd. JOHN MOORE his heirs & assigns for ever to his & their only proper use benefit & behoof for ever so the sd. WILLIAM WILLIAMS doth hereby grant that he will for himself his heirs & every of them warrant & for ever defend the above bargained premises unto the sd. JOHN MOORE his heirs & assigns for ever against him the sd. WILLIAM WILLIAMS & his heirs & all & every other person claiming by from or under him or any of them In Witness whereof he hath hereunto set his hand & affixed his seal the day and year above written.
