Jan. 13, 1830 RAN AWAY! MY HUSBAND! -- From his own premises, on the 15th ult., my husband, JAMES MILLIS, without any provocation on my part. He was so involved in debt, that every item of property left by his is under execution and will shortly be sold. He has left the subscriber with two helpless children, one aged three, and the other two years, whose doom, without assistance may be starvation or the poor house. It has been quite common for husbands to advertise their wives, when they prudently resolve to better their condition by changing their residence, and wives are certainly justifiable in adopting the same course upon the principal of self-defense. This is to inform the said JAMES MILLIS that if he will send back her proportion of money to assist in raising his children he has left on my hands, his absence will not be regretted. Guilford, N.
