CITY ELECTION -
   An election was held in Greensboro on Thursday, the 23rd of February, for 
five Commissioners and three Assessors for the town of Greensboro, in 
conformity with the Act of Incorporation, and the following gentlemen were 
chosen: RALPH GORRELL, ESQ.; DR. JOHN A. MEBANE; JED. H. LINDSAY; ROBERT 
MITCHELL and C. WINBORN, Commissioners. JESSE H. LINDSAY; COL. JOHN M. LOGAN; 
DR. L. J. M. LINDSAY, were elected Assessors.
